You can get three looks in luxury vinyl (LVF): wood, stone, and ceramic tile. This vinyl has two forms: luxury vinyl plank or square, tile-sized pieces.

All LVF forms are affordable, stylish, durable, waterproof, and low maintenance. Installation is an uncomplicated glue-down or floating floor.

The ideal alternative to wood

If you ever wanted wood in a too-wet space for installation, vinyl plank is for you!

It follows all the trends, and there are hundreds of photos from which to choose. You can find anything from gray, whitewashed, Brazilian cherry, mahogany, or teak floors.

The photos are taken with high-definition photography, so plank, called LVP flooring, includes knots, grains, swirls, and more. Embossing adds textures, including brushed, hand scraped, and distressed. The form mimics hardwood floorboards.

What’s embossed-in-register?

It's another texture where little indentations are made that exactly match the grain pattern in the image. It may be the most realistic look yet.

Stone and ceramic tile looks

Right now, marble floors, especially in the bath, are trending. Turn yours into the atmosphere of a high-end spa or 5-star hotel bathroom with affordable LVF.

You can also get other stone looks, including slate, granite, travertine, and more. The luxury vinyl tile (LVT) is mainly used for stone mimics, but there are no limitations on how you choose to use a form.

As for the stone look, there are color variations, veining patterns, textures, and Mother Nature's "imperfections." Ceramic tile colors and patterns are bold and bright. They include geometrics, herringbone, chevron, circles, hexagons, and more.
